KRAFTON announces PUBG Nations Cup 2025 with a record 24 national teams, an extended format, and exciting fan experiences. The event returns to Seoul this July with top-tier global PUBG action.

KRAFTON has officially announced the return of the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2025, promising the largest and most exciting edition of the international PUBG tournament to date. Scheduled to take place in late July at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea, the fifth installment of the PNC will expand its scope with 24 national teams, up from 16 last year.

This year’s event will feature an impressive blend of returning powerhouses and new contenders. All 16 rosters from PNC 2024 are set to return, including defending champions South Korea and runner-up United States. Denmark and India are rejoining the fray after taking a hiatus, while France, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the Philippines, and Malaysia will make their PNC debut.

Here is the full lineup of participating nations across different regions:

  • Americas: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, United States
  • Asia: South Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, India, Japan, Vietnam
  • Europe: Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, United Kingdom
  • Asia-Pacific (APAC): Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand

The official team rosters have yet to be revealed. Traditionally, participating players are selected by peer voting among the top PUBG professionals, though the selection process can differ depending on the country.

Last year’s PNC, held at KyungHee Grand Peace Hall in Seoul, was a landmark event for the PUBG esports scene. South Korea thrilled the home crowd by seizing first place and a large portion of the $548,932 USD prize pool, which consisted of a $300,000 base and additional funds raised through 30% of PNC 2024 Skin sales. According to Esports Charts, the 2024 tournament peaked at 510,997 viewers, making it the third most-watched PUBG esports event at the time.

For 2025, KRAFTON has teased a longer competition, potentially expanding beyond the usual three-day format. Details regarding match format, schedule, and ticket sales are expected to be released soon.

In addition to the intense esports action, PNC 2025 will also feature an on-site fanfest, continuing the tradition of offering unique and engaging experiences for PUBG fans. Attendees can expect exclusive activities and opportunities to connect with the global PUBG community in person.

With a significantly larger lineup, extended competition format, and continued fan engagement efforts, PUBG Nations Cup 2025 is shaping up to be a major milestone in PUBG’s competitive history and a must-watch for esports fans worldwide.
