Riot Games is bringing back the NA VALORANT Console Open from May 16–19 with a $10,000 prize pool, exciting bounty rewards, and live streams celebrating the game’s 5th anniversary.
VALORANT is once again opening the competitive doors to console players with the return of the NA VALORANT Console Open, taking place from May 16 to 19, 2025. This marks the second edition of the open-bracket console-exclusive tournament and is part of Riot Games’ ongoing celebration of VALORANT’s fifth anniversary.
The tournament is open to all console players in North America, specifically those residing in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, or Mexico. Registrations are now live on start.gg, giving teams a chance to battle it out for a share of the $10,000 prize pool.

The winning team will earn $2,500, while the rest of the prize money will be distributed among the top performers. But beyond the traditional rewards, Riot has also added bounty-style prizes for standout individual performances and creative gameplay moments, including:
- Tournament MVP: $500
- Best Kill/Death Ratio (K/D): $250
- Best Gameplay Clip: $250
- Best Original Agent Performance: $100 per agent (Breach, Brimstone, Cypher, Jett, Omen, Phoenix, Raze, Sage, Sova, and Viper)
Winners of these specialty awards will be chosen through a combination of audience voting via live streams, X (Twitter) polls, and selections by casters and tournament admins, making the event interactive for both players and fans.
The NA VALORANT Console Open 2 begins with a double-elimination open bracket featuring best-of-one matches. After two days of intense play, the top four teams will move on to a single-elimination finals bracket. The final rounds will be a best-of-three series, ensuring a deeper strategic challenge for those in the final stretch.

Here’s the daily schedule (Pacific Time):
- Day 1 – May 16 (4 PM): Double elimination bracket kicks off
- Day 2 – May 17 (10 AM): Continuation of open bracket play
- Day 3 – May 18 (10 AM): Top four teams compete in single-elimination finals
All matches will be streamed live on the official VALORANT Americas Twitch and YouTube channels, giving fans a front-row seat to this high-stakes console showdown.
The first edition of the NA VALORANT Console Open took place in January 2025, where Avengers dominated the finals, sweeping Alpha Werewolves to claim the title. With its growing popularity and Riot’s continued support, the second tournament is expected to deliver even more exciting moments and highlight the emerging talent on console platforms.
As VALORANT celebrates five years of tactical shooter excellence, the NA Console Open 2 stands out as a major step toward inclusivity and competitive opportunities for console players, pushing the boundaries of where and how the game can be played.
