Named the <em>FIA Girls on Track Esports Cup<\/em>, the competition aims to promote female participation in the rapidly expanding world of virtual motorsport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized in partnership with Advanced SimRacing\u2014a professional simulation rig manufacturer\u2014and the leading sim racing platform <em>iRacing<\/em>, this global initiative is open to participants regardless of previous motorsport or esports experience. The only requirements are an active iRacing account and registration through the official FIA website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event kicked off on April 24, 2025, with an online qualification phase already underway. Competitors are racing in <em>iRacing\u2019s<\/em> Time Attack mode, driving FIA F4 cars on the Okayama International Circuit. These finalists will not only compete for the title of the inaugural <em>FIA Girls on Track Esports Cup<\/em> champion but also gain unique access to the motorsport world. The Macau event will include media training, professional development workshops, and exclusive networking opportunities with industry leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The competition will also reflect global representation. Six of the final ten spots will be regionally allocated\u2014one each for North &amp; Central America, South America, Europe, Middle East &amp; North Africa, Africa, and Asia Pacific\u2014ensuring diverse participation. The remaining four positions will be awarded to top performers regardless of region, with the rule that only one competitor per nation may advance to the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This marks the first time the FIA\u2019s <em>Girls on Track<\/em> initiative, previously known for its <em>Rising Stars<\/em> program (2020\u20132023), has extended into esports.
