The Esports World Cup<\/strong> Foundation<\/strong> has launched \u201cMusic of EWC,\u201d a global music initiative featuring 2WEI and Hollywood Scoring, and an open competition with Audiotool to shape the sound of the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has unveiled Music of EWC<\/em>, an ambitious new initiative aiming to create a distinct musical identity for the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC)<\/a>, the world\u2019s largest esports and gaming festival. Scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 7 to August 24, the tournament is making headlines not only for its record-breaking $70 million prize pool but also for its innovative fusion of music and esports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music of EWC<\/em> was officially launched on April 27, 2025, with the recording of a four-track music suite at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. The initial compositions were created by renowned music groups 2WEI and Hollywood Scoring, both well-known for their work on major gaming and cinematic projects. 2WEI has contributed to titles like League of Legends<\/em> and Assassin\u2019s Creed Shadows<\/em>, while Hollywood Scoring has worked on projects like Star Wars<\/em>, Riot Games\u2019 Arcane<\/em>, and Disney Parks<\/em> soundtracks. Together, they produced two tracks each, forming the foundation of the EWC 2025 soundtrack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to these professionally produced tracks, EWCF is inviting the global music community to participate in shaping the EWC\u2019s sound through an open competition hosted on Audiotool, a cloud-based music creation platform. The top two submissions, chosen by a panel of industry judges, will be added to the official EWC music suite and featured across tournament broadcasts, on-site events, and digital content during the summer event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winners of the competition will receive 25 limited-edition vinyls of their submitted track and a one-year LANDR Studio subscription, potentially a career-launching opportunity in the gaming and entertainment industries. Submissions must be original and licensed under Creative Commons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
