In a stunning and undefeated run, Team Vitality emerged as the undisputed champions, clinching the $150,000 grand prize and etching their names into EWC history.

The 2025 MWI marked a historic milestone as the largest edition in the tournament’s history. The competition expanded from 12 to 16 elite teams representing 13 different regions, following an intense global qualification process across 57 regions worldwide. This growth signifies not only the rising popularity of ML:BB but also the increasing investment in women’s esports on the global stage.

Team Vitality, led by the formidable Siswanto sisters, Michelle “Chell” Siswanto and Cindy “Cinny” Siswanto, returned to the MWI stage with renewed determination. Their story, previously highlighted in the EWC documentary Level Up, came full circle after they narrowly missed last year’s title. Chell, following their grand final win, declared: “I just want to prove that no one can do it better than us. I think that it was meant to be ours all along.”

Cinny, in particular, delivered a standout performance throughout the tournament, earning the Sony MVP award for her exceptional dominance in teamfights, especially during the grand final against Gaimin Gladiators. Her aggressive plays and leadership were instrumental in Vitality’s clean 4-0 sweep in the final series, completing a perfect run without dropping a single game.

Among the most anticipated participants was Sheen “Shinoa” Perez, last year’s MVP who now plays under Natus Vincere, formerly Omega Empress. Despite high expectations, NaVi exited in the quarterfinals after a tough battle with Gaimin Gladiators, signaling a shift in the competitive hierarchy.

Adding to the excitement was the presence of two Saudi Arabian teams, Twisted Minds Orchid and Falcons Vega, vying for glory on home soil. Both teams were eventually knocked out by Vitality, with Twisted Minds securing a brief resurgence after a 2-0 victory over Falcons Vega, only to fall to Team Liquid Philippines in the playoffs.

With this win, Team Vitality now boasts three MWI titles, continuing their legacy from their days competing under the Bigetron Era banner before 2024. Their dominance has not only earned them the top spot in the EWC Club Championship standings but also reinforced their position as the global benchmark in women’s ML:BB esports.

Fans can relive the action-packed tournament, featuring every epic teamfight, ban, and victory, by watching the full event on YouTube.

Read the latest game tournaments and eSports news via Tournova.

Team Vitality dominates the ML:BB Women’s Invitational at the Esports World Cup 2025 without dropping a single game.
