Ubisoft announces the return of the Rainbow Six Siege Cup on July 5, 2025, now spanning five global regions. Learn about start times, new Siege X features, player eligibility, and tournament rewards.
Ubisoft has officially announced the return of the Rainbow Six Siege Cup, set to take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025. This highly anticipated tournament marks the first Siege Cup since the release of the massive Siege X update on June 10, and introduces exciting new gameplay features to a competitive setting.
The Siege Cup, one of the game’s most intense time-limited tournament modes, is open to players worldwide and will now be held across five major regions:
- North America (NA)
- Europe + MENA (EU + MENA)
- Latin America (LATAM)
- Oceania (OCE)
- Asia-Pacific (APAC)
Ubisoft confirmed the regional split in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), noting that North America and LATAM will now operate as separate brackets. Registration for the tournament opens 30 minutes before start time, and each regional event will kick off in the evening according to local times:
- NA Cup: 9:00 PM EST (UTC-4)
- EU + MENA Cup: 9:00 PM CEST (UTC+2)
- LATAM Cup: 9:00 PM BRT (UTC-3)
- OCE Cup: 8:00 PM AEDT (UTC+10)
- APAC Cup: 8:00 PM CST (UTC+8)

This is the third Siege Cup of 2025, following earlier editions on March 21 and April 25. However, it’s the first tournament to feature the full suite of Siege X enhancements, including destructible ingredients, improved visuals and audio, and round-based bans; all of which elevate the intensity and strategic depth of the matches.
The Siege Cup isn’t just a spectator esport; it’s a competitive mode open to the player base, with matches simulating professional tournament conditions. Players must form 5-player squads, each participant being at least clearance level 50 and having a clean reputation with no active sanctions. Teams compete in a bracketed format, advancing by winning matches and collecting Competitive Coins as rewards. These coins can be used to unlock Competitive Packs, which include exclusive, rare in-game items.
Although Rainbow Six Siege went free-to-play with the release of Siege X, access to the Siege Cup requires the full version of the game. This decision ensures that only committed players with adequate experience and in-game standing participate in this high-stakes event.
Importantly, the tournament is being held on a Saturday, a welcome change from past Friday schedules that made participation difficult for students and working professionals. Ubisoft’s timing adjustment ensures that more of the community can enjoy the event.
For full details, registration, and eligibility guidelines, players are encouraged to consult Ubisoft’s official Siege Cup guide through the in-game portal.
With all regions set to clash and new gameplay systems in place, the July 5 Siege Cup promises to be the most competitive edition yet, giving seasoned squads the chance to prove themselves in one of the most strategic shooters in esports.
